Practically everybody knows something about the game of bingo. Whether you played it in your childhood or attend bingo games to support your local church or school, bingo is an easy-to-play game that appeals to beginners and veteran players alike. Nowadays, bingo has graduated from the church hall to the Internet.. Online bingo is an extremely popular game. In this article, we’ll present some information about bingo playing online, along with some tips to help you play bingo online like a pro.

The object online bingo playing is to complete a pattern on your game card. A game card for online bingo play usually consists of 25 spaces arranged in a square with 5 spaces on each side, forming a grid. 24 random numbers (from a possible pool of the numbers 1 through 75) appear in each space on the card for playing bingo online, except for the center space, which is designated as “free.” Across the top of the card for online bingo games, the word “BINGO” appears. Since bingo is a 5-letter word, each of the 5 vertical columns on the card for bingo gaming online is designated by one of the letters in the word. For example, the first column of the card is the “B” column and the second is the “I” column, etc. This gives every number in bingo online play a possible locus on the card. There are also restrictions on what numbers can appear in what column. Each column in games of bingo online can contain a range of values, as follows: B column: 1 to 15, I column: 6 to 30, N column: 31 to 45, G column: 46 to 60, O column: 61 to 75.

At a live bingo game, there is a spinning cage that contains balls marked with all 75 numbers. The caller spins the cage, withdraws a number and calls it out to the players. The players mark their cards accordingly if the called number matches a number on their card. For example, if the caller announces “N36,” each player looks at the 3rd (“N”) column on their card to see if it contains the number 36. If it does, the player marks (daubs) their card accordingly. The first player to complete a vertical, horizontal or diagonal sequence of 5 filled (called) spaces shouts out “bingo” and wins the game. Most bingo players play multiple cards per game.

In online bingo, the numbers are determined by a special computer program known as a random number generator. Another important difference is that the player doesn’t have to physically daub each number on each card. There’s a feature called “auto-daub” that marks all the called numbers automatically, reducing the margin of error to zero. Another nice feature of online bingo is that a player can sort their cards so that the card that’s most likely to win is most visible. Also, online bingo has a feature where players can chat with other players during a game. In most live casino bingo, chatting is discouraged. In online bingo, there are progressive jackpots that grow according to the number of people who are playing. If nobody wins the jackpot increases and carries forward into the next game.

Online bingo is fun and easy to play from the comfort of your own home. So why travel out to a live game in the bad weather when there’s one as close as your computer?
