The biggest differences between The No Limit Texas Hold’em and Limit Texas Hold’em

The biggest differences between The No Limit Texas Hold’em and Limit Texas Hold’em are related to the value of the hand and the position during the game. The position during a No Limit Texas Hold’em poker game is more important because it affects your decision and moves and consequently it affects your wins. If you manage to block somebody during a No Limit Texas Hold’em game by using your position, you can win all the money of your opponent while in Limit Texas Hold’em you will manage only to get a few extra bets for yourself. Combinations with cards such as Ace King, Ace Queen loose their value when you are playing No Limit, because such hands help you to win only small hands and you can loose big hands with a lot of money. It is also important to know that all pairs gain additional value in No Limit Texas Hold’em, because you can double among your opponents when you have a set. Big pairs such as ACE ACE and KING King also gain additional value during a No Limit Texas Hold’em poker game because you have the opportunity to trap somebody and get all of his money.

In No Limit Texas Hold’em, it is very important to keep track of your money and the money of your opponents. The variations from the pot affect the game. For example, you have 500$. Your opponent has 25$, the blinds are 2$-4$. You find yourself I big blind with a Jack – Ten, and your opponent goes into all-in from initial position. All the other players fold. This is an obvious situation in which you should stay away because it is not profitable to risk 21$ in addition in order to win the 24$ of your adversary. If your opponent has 500$, then you can call, because you have the chance of wining 500$ risking only 21$. You can decide whether to call or not taking into consideration how good is your opponent’s game after the flop. Important advice for playing Texas Hold’em

The first thing you should know is that if you play to many beginning hands during a No Limit Texas Hold’em game with bets of 2$-4$ the flop percent is around 20% to 30%. This means that you should say Pas to AS Valet in initial position, to King 10 in middle position and to Queen 10 in final position.

Observe the players : observe carefully all the players seated at the poker table, see who plays weak hands, who plays aggressive hands, who calls big beat with weak hands, with whom you can bluff, who plays using bluff and so on.

Choosing the table: take part only in games, which you can afford. Everyone wishes to have a few weak players at their table, make sure you are not it.

Play the right way this game: Fold, Bet or Raise if chance is in your favor. Do not call unless you have a good reason for doing this, for example if you want to get an adversary.

Respect big bet and raises: this situation occurs especially while the turn and the river, because most of the players do not play using the bluff.
